A low-key trip to Bantayan

When I first heard of the movie Camp Sawi (Camp for the Broken-Hearted), I felt so curious about it. But when I discover the movie's location, I realized that there are so many ways to enjoy the island that's far from the heart of the city. Two years ago, we went to Cebu not to explore the city but to explore the island of Bantayan. We left Quezon at midnight to catch the 5 am flight. We arrived at the Mactan-Cebu airport at 6 and ate breakfast at the van terminal. The road trip took three hours before we reached the port. We waited for an hour before we board the ship to the island. It was not a typical day for the ship to sail because of the inclement weather. It felt more like tossing into the strong waves and rocking by the winds. After almost two hours, we safely reached the island.
